UPDATE MAY
2004

Hello Everyone,
Let's see,
what have I been up to? My exhibit, "Mission Statement", opened in March
and went very well. I had a great time at the artist reception. Friends
Bill Mumy, Marta Kristin, Heather Menzies Urich and my sister Veronica all
dropped by for a visit. I had no idea that missions were a passion to so
many people. For many it brought back memories... to others they had
always loved the antiquity and beauty of these man made monuments in early
California. For me it had been a journey in progress for the last three years. I
photographed six of the missions for this exhibit and I have fifteen yet to
visit with my camera. There is always the hours of hard work when you are
getting a show together and it has been keeping me busy for the last couple of
months, but I love the process. I have posted the photographs from this exhibit
on the web at this address

if you want to take a look. The show comes down May 14th and then I
will continue this wild ride into my next photographic adventure.

On the home front my
daughter Becca, who has now graduated college, is out working for a Production
company and loving it. Jesse, my son, will be graduating high school this
June and will be heading out to college. He just had his senior prom and
that seems to be the beginning of a whirlwind of activity for the seniors.
There are new passages
and changes in my life that's for sure. I'm keeping myself busy with my
art and the projects Heather Menzies (my pal from Sound of Music) are working
on. She just called me the other day to say she just became a Grandmother to her
daughter Emily's new baby, Michelle. As I said, big changes.
Lots of people have been
writing to say how much they are enjoying the DVD of "Lost In Space", it's
amazing to me that I was part of a show that had such an impact on people. I
hear the second season will be coming out soon.

Someone
in my Guest Book asked if the spacesuits we wore in 'Lost In Space' were
uncomfortable... I'll say. They seemed to be made of cardboard in the first
season and stopped the circulation when you bent your arm. They were terribly
hot too. Then NASA discovered a more flexible silver material and our spacesuits
were made of that for the next two seasons.

- The
other day I received a lovely surprise from my 'International Music
Syndicate' friends. Two "Angela Cartwright" dolls. I have one of the 12"
dolls but I played with her so much when I was a kid she looks like she's
been through the ringer. So to receive these two AC dolls...12" and
24" (one of them still has the original tag dangling from her wrist), was a
wonderful treasure. I was so touched while reading the lovely cards that
were sent from the students.

- I guess that's it for now.
I'll write again when there is more news...
- cheers,
