Part 3

Being cast as "Penny Robinson"
was a job I really loved. Not only was I fascinated with the Space Program,
but this was totally different from the kind of roles I'd played before. It
was a great group of people, and every week was a new adventure. I really grew
into my teenage years on the show. As I
grew taller they kept adding inches to
my pants. Finally, I think they gave up and put me in a mini skirt
for the
third season. Some of the stories were really a stretch, but to me, anything
was possible. In 3 years "Lost In Space" became a favorite TV show to
thousands of people who were swept away in the Robinson's adventures, and it
has never lost it's appeal to those imaginations it captured. |

Marta and I love this picture of the two of
us...Yikes! We just saw next weeks script...

This was OUR interpretation of
the way they drew the 'Boobinsons' for 'Mad' magazines strip titled
"Loused Up in Space."

Flying with Guy Williams and the
Bloop. A shot of Penny and John Robinson, the space
travelers in their pj's and on the top deck between takes. |
That's me and Guy Williams when the "Lost In
Space" cast played "Family Feud" for our favorite charity. This is the last
time I would see Guy. |
Having my platinum makeup put on for "All
that Glitters" episode was uncomfortable after hours of wearing it. Sherry Jackson who played my step sister on "Make Room
for Daddy" was in the episode "The Space Croppers." |
Bill's birthday on the set. This shot of Bill, Debbie the Bloop and me was put up on the wall of the 20th Century Fox Studios Diner. The

"The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen." |

Bill found these old snapshots of us in our
space outfits taken at a singing performance we did together. He always had his guitar nearby,
entertaining us often on the set. |

A visit to NASA was a treat for us all. We were there for
the Endeavor lift-off and enjoyed beans and cornbread
with the NASA technicians and astronauts. |
